How 'clever and well-informed' are 'you'? Read on to find out

If you seek something remarkable to own or give as a beautiful present that will be valued and treasured then look no further -your search is over!

These bridge-sized playing cards are truly exquisite. Here you meet characters from the principal celebrated works of the literary genius Jane Austin through a selection of thought-provoking quotes - deeply rooted in manners, etiquette, and prejudice – that force us to examine jurisprudence – the relationship between truth, law, and justice – and ask ‘is the law just?’ and ‘does the punishment fit the crime?’.

And to give insight and credence into the devious and dubious characters and their prejudices and hidden agendas, the aces and court cards display the original fascinating illustrations that breathe life into the wonderful mesmerising masterworks so you can make up your own mind about each principal protagonist and antagonist and decide for your self who’s ‘side’ you would take and what ‘you’ would do if you were in ‘their’ shoes – so don’t be surprised if the card game is set aside and a lively conversation ensues during a rubber of bridge.

The gold and copper backs are exquisite, and as to the handling of the cards, the high-gloss finish enables easy elegant handling of the cards when shuffling and dealing.

    Five stars

Great deck for lovers of Jane Austen or just playing cards.

These cards were beautifully done with quotes or artwork from Austen's works on every card. In fact, all of the Prospero cards are worth having if you're interested in novel playing cards and fine literature.
